‘Dumb and Dumber’ and ‘The Mask’ coming to Blu-ray
Warner Home Video today announced that the classic Jim Carrey comedies, Dumb and Dumber and The Mask, will make their Blu-ray debut on December 9, 2008.
Both movies will be presented in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video with Dumb and Dumber sporting a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio soundtrack. The Mask’s audio format is currently unconfirmed.
Dumb and Dumber’s bonus features include: Behind the story featurette; two alternate endings; ten deleted scenes; six minutes of bonus, unrated footage; trailers and TV spots.
The Mask will include: commentary tracks; four featurettes including Cartoon Logic– a tribute to Tex Avery; bonus scenes with commentary; alternate Opening and a theatrical trailer.
‘Horton Hears a Who!’ Blu-ray announced
Fox announced today that Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who! will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray on December 9, 2008. The animated film stars Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and Carol Burnett.
Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears A Who! Blu-ray release will be presented in widescreen format on a 25GB single-layer disc authored in AVC (MPEG 4) compression with English 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Master Audio, Spanish/French 5.1 Dolby Digital plus English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and French subtitles.
