Donnie Yen reteams with Director Wilson Yip to reprise his role as IP Man, going up against Sammo Hung in IP Man 2: Legend of the Grandmaster, debuting on Blu-ray Disc and DVD April 19 from Well Go USA.
The film takes up where its predecessor left off, with Ip Man escaping the Japanese occupation of his hometown and arriving in Hong Kong, where he opens a martial arts academy to teach his unique Wing Chun style. But Ip must first prove himself to the corrupt cabal of Hong Kong martial arts masters.
The Blu-ray and DVD feature both the original uncut and un-dubbed subtitled version and a brand new English-language dub. Bonus features include the in-depth, behind-the-scenes featurettes “The Making of Ip Man 2: Legend of the Grandmaster†and “Behind the Sets,†as well as deleted scenes and a shooting diary.
