FOX announced today that Baz Luhrmann’s “Australia” is headed to DVD and Blu-ray on March 3, 2009. The film will be presented on a BD-50 dual-layer disc in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video with DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround. The Blu-ray edition will feature tons of exclusive bonus features, including an in-depth, nine part Behind The Scenes documentary. Also included is a featurette titled “Australia: The people, the history, the location” and two deletes scenes.
The suspense film Deception arrives on DVD and Blu-ray Disc September 23rd from Fox Home Entertainment. Featuring Hugh Jackman, Ewan McGregor, Michelle Williams and Maggie Q, Deception follows a naïve accountant named Wyatt who is lured into an elite and clandestine sex club known as “The List†by his slick lawyer friend, played by Jackman. He becomes enthralled with this new lifestyle, but soon becomes the prime suspect in a woman’s disappearance and a multimillion-dollar heist.
The Deception Blu-ray release will be authored in BD-Java with AVC (MPEG 4 compression) on a dual-layer 50 GB disc with English 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio plus Spanish and French Dolby Surround and Spanish, French, Cantonese and Mandarin subtitles.
